Hi, I'm Chan Nyein Zin—a recent Columbia University grad with a passion for programming that began in Mandalay, Myanmar. I’m proficient in languages like Java, Python, and JavaScript, and have hands-on experience with front-end frameworks (React) and back-end tools (Flask, Spring Boot, REST APIs). I’ve built scalable applications using PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, and modern version control and API testing tools. Outside of tech, I enjoy aquascaping, culinary adventures, and algorithm challenges. Let's connect and build something extraordinary!
Learn more about meI thrive under pressure. At Columbia, I took 18 credits of challenging Computer Science courses, including Literature. I enjoy pushing my limits.
I like to create new things. even when cooking, I develop my own recipes. In computer science, I apply the same creativity to developing innovative solutions and approaches.
I look forward to getting involved and contributing to different communities. I have contributed to the Burmese community by building a strong and supportive environment for Burmese students who want to learn CS and guide them. I always seek out peer-driven environments.
